My black thumb of hard-drive death has struck again. The hard drive on my main Alienware box (a Seagate Cheetah) died suddenly. Lock up your hard drives when I come to visit, folks, since if they come within 20 feet of my demagnetizing aura they'll wither and die.

Rumors are circulating that Firefly may be moving to Wednesday night. This could put Whedon's show into a pretty crowded timeslot, since it would be up against Birds of Prey, Amazing Race 3, and The West Wing. Seems like Monday night would be a better slot. There's less competition, and the slot is open now that the awful girls club got canned.
