BugDay Returns This Tuesday (11/30/99)Monday November 29th, 1999Asa Dotzler writes: "What? Collaborative bug hunting for Mozilla. Where? #mozillazine on irc.mozilla.org When? Every Tuesday, mid-day 'til midnight (USA time) The schedule is very loose and informal, if you have some free time on Tuesday please drop by. How? If you've got an IRC client then go to server irc.mozilla.org and join channel #mozillazine. If you don't have an IRC client then head over to mozillazine's chat section and use the java client." If you've got **and** IRC client It would be nice to read a log of the BugDay. Is that possible? We're talking about a day long informal event, the log would be huge! And this isn't a question answer chat, it's real time participation so the only way to experience this is to be there. <:3)~~ How about having zinebot (or the bot du jour) log, say, every 20 minutes and post it automatically? Run it through the pretty-printer of jwz's that they're using every 20 or so minutes and post it. Wouldn't be terribly hard, for anyone who knows TCL (assuming the bots mozilla.org uses are eggdrops). (P.S. Can you tell I'm a channel admin? ;) ) Wasn't there supposed to be an instance of Chatzilla included in the M11 build? Just wondering if that ever got in, and how I could manage to implement it. -J |
