DocLib.org, Open Source Documentation Directory, Now Online

Thursday September 9th, 1999

Shane Adams writes, "doclib.org is a new online directory of open source documentation. A little over 300 meg of documentation is available. The documentation is fully searchable. The site is in Beta, and I will be pushing an upgrade in the next few weeks to clean up a few things, as well as adding more documentation."

Not to dis the site or anything, but it needs some TLC on the look and feel.

That black background is really distracting, as well as the logo.

Otherwise, it looks like it has promise.

I'm not much of a web guy. I'll be working on cleanin up the look and feel when I get back from vacation next week.

Thanks for the feedback, Shane

I like the aesthetics and I like the logo a lot!

What I don't like is the long filenames many of which are not even links. Can't the software extract the title from the file and use that instead?
