Luddite and Adam Lock both sent in news regarding two articles on Mozilla over at Both articles are written by Eugene Eric Kim, previously Senior Technical Editor at Doctor Dobb's Journal. The first article delves into the technical advances of the new Mozilla (XPCOM, XPToolkit, Gecko), as well as some of the other Open Source code-support tools that aid mozilla's development (Bugzilla, Tinderbox, and Bonsai).

In the second article, Eugene examines Mozilla's Open Source initiative, and talks with Stuart Parmenter (you may know him as Pavlov from #mozilla) and Michael Leventhal of CiTEC (the company creating "DocZilla"). MozillaZine even gets a mention.

Both articles are well written, and do a good job of assessing mozilla's progress and its exciting new technologies, so be sure to check them out!

The goal is 100% CSS1 and 80% (no sound style sheets and stuff like that) CSS2.
