QT Mozilla Port Checked In

Friday August 20th, 1999

The initial work on the QT toolkit port of mozilla has been checked in. No screenshots yet, but this is a good first step. As you may recall, work was done porting to QT with the classic Mozilla code, but this work utilizes Gecko and the new codebase.

Thanks to Steve Morrison (from our chromeZone) and arielb for the news.

Will it be possible to replace the browser in kfm with a mozilla component? I hear the gnome team is working on making mozilla a bonobo object -- will there be any similar effort from the KDE developers?
