Richard Hess of Team BeZilla has great news for BeOS users:
"Team BeZilla would like to announce the availability of a set of binaries for BeZilla. This initial ALPHA release ONLY runs under BeOS R4.5 (or Genki betas starting from Genki/5), and is ONLY available for x86.
NOTE: at this point in time, the BeZilla ALPHA release does not allow you to configure it to use proxies. This may be a problem for people who are attempting to run BeZilla from a workstation inside a firewall...
** like proxies, no preferences can be set in this release.
You can download the ALPHA release at the following URL;
Please read the README file carefully before getting back to us, and if there's anything that "bugs" you in the current BeZilla feel free to contribute!
All questions, comments or bug reports regarding this ALPHA release should be posted to the netscape.public.mozilla.beos newsgroup. You can also submit messages to this group by sending mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Remember that this is just a preview of things to come and there is still much work to be done.
You have all done a great job. Please keep up the good work.
This is great news ! I'll be able to test it once a PPC build is released.
