Camino 0.8.1 Released

Mike Pinkerton writes: "We released Camino 0.8.1 tonight. Since the 0.8 release, we have added the following: fixes for four possible security vulnerabilities in Gecko, upgrade to Mozilla 1.7.2 Gecko engine, disabled prebinding on Mac OS X 10.3.x, several fixes to improve localization."

Builds are available on Mozilla's FTP server, and release notes are also available.

I am not a Mac user, but I advocate to Mac users and I'm torn on whether to recommend Camino or Firefox. Because it is native, I'd be inclined to recommend Camino if it weren't for the fact that you can't use Firefox extensions. Of particular note are Googlebar and AdBlock. This is important because these "features" are some of the big selling-points that get people to drop IE.

What do you Mac users think? Is there another way to get the same functionality in Camino, or do you just live with ads and no Googlebar?
