Mozilla on Windows CE

Wednesday April 14th, 1999

Arielb has sent is news that the Mozilla on Windows CE project has started. It would be nice to see a working, fast Mozilla take over the browser market on CE, so anyone who is interested in ripping out large portions of Mozilla to help it fit into a small memory footprint, please contact the project's owner.

Righteous. Chase them out of their own snail shell with a browser that really can do it all with a tiny footprint.

Sheesh! I didn't know that I was the project owner! I'm just part of small-devices. Yowza!! Well, I sent this in to one site, which copied it to one, and then another, and then here. I didn't think it was mozillazine worthy. Oh well. PLEASE!!! IF YOU CAN HELP, MAIL ME!! Need more developers to take the butt off myself. This shows you what a little publicity will do for you!

Isn't it just another faied MS "standard"? Made so that makers of palm competitors would have a compatable os to share. Failed because it was so resourse heavy and noncompatable if you made a program for it that didn't chrash it out right, a HP, Compaq ar what ever else couldent use it? The idea of a Desktop on a pda is even stupider than on a workstation, why would you need the choice of a desktop and a start menu for launching apps when all the toy is good for is writing e-mail and taking notes?
