Mozilla Sunbird Seeking New Default Theme

Friday June 18th, 2004

The developers of Mozilla Sunbird, the standalone version of Mozilla Calendar, are soliciting designs for a new default theme. Interested theme creators should read the guidelines posted in the MozillaZine Themes forum, which feature complete details. Submitted work must be licensed under the standard MPL/GPL/LGPL tri-license and a rough showcase needs to be produced by Tuesday 13th July for the theme to be considered.

The sunbird team is currently lacking a talented designer. We would have no problem going with a theme similar to Pinstripe/Winstripe. We even asked the Pinstripe/Winstripe creators Kevin Gerich and Stephen Horlander if they would be interested in helping us with a new theme, but the answer was basically: "Sorry guys, not enough time!". See also <http://forums.mozillazine…topic.php?p=583308#583308> for a forum post from Kevin Gerich regarding this matter.
