Camino 0.8 Release Candidate 1 Available

A release candidate for Camino 0.8 is now available for testing. It comes a month after the release of Camino 0.8 Beta, which has been downloaded over 50,000 times. Camino 0.8 RC1 can be downloaded for Mac OS X only from the 2004-06-17-08-0.8 directory on ftp.mozilla.org. Barring any critical bugs, this build will become the final version 0.8 in about a week.

Can't wait for 0.8 to be out so Camino can start dropping the 10.1 crap that's holding it back (bad tabs, for example).

If they were half decent I'd go with Camino over Firefox in a jiffy ...

Sorry for being off topic but the Fx 0.9 news is already too old ;-)

I can't find German builds of Fx 0.9 in German ? Do they exist somewhere already, or are they still in the works ?

I don't think there's any yet. When there are, they'll probably appear in the contrib-localized directory of the FTP site http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/0.9/contrib-localized/, or on the German Firefox localization project page http://www.firefox-browser.de/.
