Bugzilla Now Accepts Attachments

Thursday April 8th, 1999

If you have patches for bugs you've encountered in Mozilla, you can now submit that patch as an attachment via Bugzilla.

There are a number of ways you can submit your patch - diffs, plain text, HTML, binary, or other (in which you specify the MIME type). You can also attach test data and other files that may be helpful.

To submit a patch to an existing bug, click the "create a new attachment" link on the bug's page. To submit an attachment to a new bug you are filing, first submit the bug, then view it, and from there you can attach the patch or test code.

This is now the preferred method for submitting patches for Mozilla.
