Polish 'Webesteem' Art and Design Magazine Reviews Mozilla Firefox

Thursday April 15th, 2004

Marek Stepien (marcoos@NOSPAM.firefox.pl) writes: "Jakub Zalewski of the Polish Webesteem art and design magazine has recently written a review of Mozilla Firefox, in which he praises Firefox's web standards compliance, security and usability. The article mentions all major features of Mozilla Firefox — tabbed browsing, text zoom, download manager, themes, cookie management and pop-up blocking. Some of the most popular extensions to Firefox are also listed."

Jakub Zalewski, the article's author, adds: "Since I started using Mozilla Firefox I have total control over my computer. I'm not trying to prove that Firefox is the ideal web browser. There's no such thing, because there are no bug-free programs. However, I have never met another tool that gives me so many features while preserving stability and lightweightness. I used Internet Explorer for many years, because it was simply the best, but the situation has changed and no IE shell would fix all the problems. Firefox is all I ever needed from a web browser."

For example http://www.humanitas-international.org/newstran/index.html (under the flag section) but the quality of the translation is rather abysymal.
