Mozilla Looking to Forge Alliances with GNOME and Other Open Source Projects to Combat Longhorn

This sounds like a powerful vision. It will be a lot of work. Especially since the platform should also scale down to smart phones. I hope Mozilla will be able to leverage enough interest and manpower to pull this off.

Is this just the personal vision of Brendan or is the plan adopted by Mozilla itself?

PS: Brendan, I like the prototype sytem in JavaScript. The language is quite underrated.
