UK Banks NatWest and The Royal Bank of Scotland Now Support Mozilla
Saturday April 3rd, 2004
Stuart wrote in to tell us that the UK bank NatWest have recently upgraded their online banking facilities, allowing Mozilla users to access the service for the first time. In addition, the digital banking features of NatWest's parent, The Royal Bank of Scotland, are also now compatible with Mozilla. See bug 66911 and bug 119134 for details.

Nice to see Nat West finally being fixed, but I've always been with HSBC, whose Net banking service has worked fine in Mozilla.
Now if only Camelot would take note and fix their official UK lottery site online games to work in any half-decent OS/browser - see the registration page at <https://www.national-lott…uk/player/registration.do> - yep, they doubly block both the browser and the OS. I have phoned Camelot many times to complain about this over the last 2 years and like Nat West, they claim they have to test every approved combo and block all others they haven't test, which I think is ridiculous.
It's even more crazy when ,like Nat West, if you fake your OS/Browser to be XP/IE6, Mozilla on Linux surfs the online games pages perfectly....it made me steaming mad enough to slap an Evangelism bug report into Bugzilla at <http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=23523>
