Mozilla Firefox Recommended on TechTV's 'Call for Help' Show

Saturday March 6th, 2004

Robert Orndorff writes: "Firefox was on TechTV's Call for Help show yesterday, sounds like everyone there uses it. They gave it a glowing review on the show and mentioned that IE is far behind in features." Unfortunately, no online video of the segment is available, but you can read a text article about Firefox on TechTV's site.

I was really glad to see my favorite browser being shown on my favorite channel, but I think the segment could've gone better if Leo Laporte was there. Unfortunately, he was taping a segment for Regis and Kelly, and the fill-ins didn't seem to know what they were talking about.

... does Leo Laporte actually know what he's talking about, either?

Granted, despite my blanket indifference towards all things TechTV, I will credit them for frequently supporting non-mainstream technologies like Linux and Mozilla, even if they do usually mangle things in the process.
