New Polish Mozilla Firefox Website Launches

Monday February 23rd, 2004

Marek Stepien writes: "A new website about Mozilla Firefox has just launched in Poland. Firefox.pl is a place where Polish speaking users can easily download official mozilla.org builds of Firefox bundled with Polish language packages. We are also going to publish some translated documentation and make similar websites about Thunderbird and other Mozilla-related products.

"We are also proud to announce that translated builds of Firefox 0.8 for Linux (both GTK 1 and GTK 2), Mac and Windows are available for downloading."

Perhaps Firefox.pl uses an open-source RDBMS based on Interbase ( http://firebird.sourceforge.net/ ) for the site's back end instead of the higher-profile MySQL or PostgreSQL.
