French Speaking Geckozone Community Website Reopens

Saturday February 7th, 2004

Benoit writes: "After several days of unavailability caused by the continual attacks on their free Tuxfamily hosting service, Geckozone is up and running again, thanks to a new hosting offer at CRI74.

"Since its opening in August 2003, Geckozone has become the reference for French-speaking people seeking information and help on Mozilla-based products. These services includes an ever growing web-based forum, a FAQ, as well as a new mailing list targeted to end-users."

So when SCO's website went down they blamed it on evil open source hackers. Trying to lump us all in the same boat. Now I don't think any open source supporters would be attacking a service called 'Tuxfamily'.

But why's the BBC and others not reporting that Windows users are trying to attack innocent companies?

I mean if you're going to lump users of a certain OS together when something bad happens it has to work both ways.
