New Calendar XPIs Support Mozilla Thunderbird

Jason writes: "The Calendar project released new XPIs for both Windows and Linux on January 9th. They include fixes for bugs such as the high CPU usage bug and now support Thunderbird. Eric Belhaire's website is detailing the Thunderbird work and, according to the latest notes from mozilla.org's staff meeting the other day, the Thunderbird team will be focusing more on Calendar as well.

(but eudora for many reasons) ... and i'm wondering how automatically launch calendar in background... I'm using calendar with firebird 0.7+, and i receive the alerts only when i manually launch calendar in firebird ... do you know if some alarm server exists, reading the ical data and process alarm, even when calendar is not running?
