Jason writes: "The Calendar project released new XPIs for both Windows and Linux on January 9th. They include fixes for bugs such as the high CPU usage bug and now support Thunderbird. Eric Belhaire's website is detailing the Thunderbird work and, according to the latest notes from mozilla.org's staff meeting the other day, the Thunderbird team will be focusing more on Calendar as well.

Calendar seems like its coming along, but I'm wondering about Palm sync support? Without it Calendar and Thunderbird can't really be used as a drop in replacement for either Outlook or Evolution. It would be a real boon to zilla products if Thunderbird came with Calendar and had the ability to sync Calendar, Notes, and Address book. I know its common sense that you need these basic features and that they have probably been planned on for a while now, but I'm wondering what the status is of getting these features into Calendar and Thunderbird.
