for reloading frames.

I can reload frames! Yay! ^_^.

#5 Alas, the feature is partial

As of 0.8.2, reloading of individual frames is almost possible, but it has some quirks in it: I can reload a frame that belongs to the same domain of the frameset. Reloading a frame the file of which originated from an external domain (of the frameset) is apparently impossible.

#2 I don't think the service pack works

I tried the service pack twice. It installed, but It still reported my release as 0.8.1. Am I the one with this problem?

#6 The Service Pack works

The version number is set in about.xhtml which is packed in one of the JARs. We didn't think most end-users would want the additional download of the JAR file just to update about. So, we didn't include it. The quickest way to verify that your install has been updated is to check the date for k-meleon.exe. If it shows December 23, 2003, you have been updated.

#3 Release notes

If you read K-Meleon's 0.8.1 Service Pack release notes carefully, then it will actually report a 0.8.1 version. It would be 0.8.2 if you used a separate installer.

#7 Normal operation not to crash?

I really love kmeleon but... 0.8.1 crashed every time I looked at it funny. 0.8.2 only crashes once in a while. I hope the next release they get it right!

Please share some details on where you are getting crashes. We do our best to fix problems but we need more details to troubleshoot. Thanks!

Hi,

0.8.1 crashed randomly. No rhyme reason. 0.8.2 I can only reliabley make crash when it views pages w/ the quicktime plugin.

It crashes randomly I cannot give instructions on how to reproudce (hence random). If you had a talkbalk build though I'd run that and send reports when it crashed.

#12 more stable

I downloaded this latest version, 0.8.2, and it seems to be a lot more stable. By the time it reaches, 1.0 it should be perfect.
