Mozilla T-Shirt Available for Preorder at Mozilla StoreSaturday November 15th, 2003The Mozilla Store is now taking preorders for the new Mozilla T-Shirt. This 100% cotton white shirt features the red Mozilla tyrannosaurus rex head on the front and left sleeve, with black 'mozilla.org' text on the back. Available in small, medium, large, x-large and xx-large sizes, costing from US$12.95 to US$15.95, the product will ship in the first week of December. N/T Hasn't the mozilla.org black text gone now from the official mozilla.org site after its recent redesign? Actually, that was one of the biggest surprises to me when the new site launched, but I guess it makes sense (the site's home page should be advertising Mozilla products and not its own Web address :-) ). How about aligning the amout button with the "Add to shopping cart" button? It looks bad in Mozilla. Also, some space between them wouldnt do any harm Kind of funny, the button looks fine in IE and Opera, but not in Mozilla... Did the developer not test it with Mozilla? I wonder about the brand that this T-Shirt is made of and the quality of the printing on that shirt. What will the price be for international orders? Just look at this: " - UPS Worldwide Expedited$63.95 ($3.95 plus $60.00 S&H) Includes $1 check fee" " - UPS Worldwide Expedited$74.95 ($14.95 plus $60.00 S&H) Includes $1 check fee" http://store.mozilla.org/s.nl/c.300097/sc.2/category.-102/it.I/id.9/.f $60 for Shipping and Handling, hilariously expensive, isn't it? About the international issue: If Mozilla Fondation don't give resources for international (non-english) users and contributors, as mailing lists for end users and MLP contributors groups, domains, localized versions of mozilla.org site... is really the Mozilla project a international project? Is there any international (non-english) marketing plans for the future? I think the same... All the marketing efforts seem to be U.S.-oriented only... I know that it is difficult to establish an international website and international services when the end-user oriented website has just launched and most users are American or at least speak English, the marketing proyects has started a few months ago, and that mozilla.org (thanks God!) isn't a huge and evil company like M$, but perhaps focusing a little more in other languages that English would be better. Not only with the shop, which is supposed to be international but if you order the Moz T-Shirt from another country than the U.S., it adds $60 of shipping and handling to the $15 it costs there (That isn't too much "international" :-P), but for example the main mozilla.org website, that is only in English... I tried to order but get the message: "We do not sell item "Mozilla T-Rex T-shirt (White)" with that particular combination of options. Please select a different combination of options." I selected large. Should I just wait until it is available? I have the same experience! Well its sad that people who try to come and contribute are thwarted by such bugs. Do they have any plans to release different colored or designed t-shirts? Is it just me or you cant zoom in on the shirt? XXXL please. Does anyone remember the old Netscape shirt featuring the lizzard in the post of DaVinci's vitruvian man? You know, the one with the naked man holding his arms and legs spread in a circle (a rather harsh discription)? This was my favorite shirt of all time, and if Mozilla.org were to reprint them I would almost certainly buy one. hey peoples, it's mid-november here in new england. any sweatshirts available? It's mid-november everywhere, unless a person happens to not be following the Gergorian or similar calendar in their part of the world. I don't have any white clothes and I will not change this ;) |
