Microsoft Undergoing a Reorganization - Seems Unlikely to Address Antitrust Concerns

News from The Wall Street Journal Europe states that Microsoft is "on the brink of splitting into four separate units". Read more about it at The Register. However, this doesn't seem like a split made to address Antitrust concerns. There is no mention of disallowing the sharing of trade secrets between divisions. MS reorganizing is garbage--I don't think it will help anything, honestly. 'sides, anything they do until the DOJ has its say this summer, when the court case ends, is irrelevant. Linux and Mozilla are the future, MS is in the past. I'll not weep for them.
