mozCC Extension Displays Creative Commons Licensing Information
Wednesday November 12th, 2003
Andrea Monni writes: "mozCC 0.6 has been released by Nathan Yergler, it's an extension for browsers that are based on Mozilla Gecko (Mozilla Suite, Mozilla Firebird, and Netscape), which provides an easy way to view Creative Commons license metadata embedded in Web pages. mozCC displays license information about the current page in the status bar using the Creative Commons' license attribute icons. It also provides a button on the toolbar which displays the embedded license's RDF in more detail. Check http://www.yergler.net/projects/mozcc/ for more details."
#1 Doesn't work well with new OS X theme

The new default pinstripe theme does not play well with this extension. Mostly because it's missing a graphic, and creates a button of all the button graphics.

I'm sure it doesn't; there are a few issues with Mozilla browsers other than Firebird (w/o Pinstripe) that I'm working to resolve. I'll be away this weekend, but hope to have a new release out by the middle of next week which will resolve the remainder of the cosmetic issues. Thanks for pointing this out and feel free to e-mail me with any other issues you find.
