MozPhile writes: "In an effort to publicize a new CSS design for, a new mozdev project has been created. Based on the current design, this new one features valid XHTML 1.1 and CSS 2, with semantic HTML. First a fully standards-compliant browser, now a fully standards-compliant website to top it off!" Note that has not made any official statement regarding the design or whether they plan to use it.

All the browser compatibility issues aside, it's great to see this implemented so well. It does a geat job demonstrating a lot of the benefits of using XHTML and CSS 2, and separating style from content ... it can be done, and done while it streamlines maintanence, and shows how well the standards can work.

Yes, I acknowledge there are still significant compatibility issues. These have been debated before, example <> . I'll let others discuss those issues. I just want to give an atta-boy for the positives this demonstrates.
