Thursday August 14th, 2003

Gerald Bauer writes: "The XUL Alliance site now sports a bookshelf to gather the latest and greatest XUL books in one place. The collection so far includes: Essential XUL Programming, Creating Applications with Mozilla (Using XUL, JavaScript and CSS) and Rapid Application Development with Mozilla. The bookshelf also includes chapters on next-gen XML markup languages such as XForms (XML In, XML Out; Databinding Architecture for Web Services using XML) and SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics; High-End 2D Graphics in XML) and more."

Ok. I found a table of contents at the Sams Publishing site @ <http://www.samspublishing…g/product.asp?product_id=>{F6051398-6CA2-4A0A-8A86-7AF5E303F36D}

Looks like the book got published in January 2002 and doesn't cover XUL. The book also doesn't seem to have any real authors but it seems like a marketing ploy for "NIIT" - a global multifaceted organization based in India and specializing in software development, education, training, and business solutions according to Sams. I wonder if they had their book reviewed by Mozilla team members.
