Experimental Mozilla Sunbird Build Released for Windows
Sunday August 10th, 2003
On Thursday, the first experimental test build of Mozilla Sunbird for Windows was released. Previously, only Linux binaries of Sunbird have been available. Sunbird is a standalone version of Mozilla Calendar, similar to Mozilla Firebird (the standalone browser) and Mozilla Thunderbird (the standalone mail and newsgroups client).

I noticed two bugs in the profile creation. It doesn't display the last letter of name of the profile you type. The full name is used anyway. The second bug is that sunbird uses the phoenix profile directory (I suppose it is a bug for firebird as well that it still uses phoenix as the name for the profile directory).
Otherwise everything looks nice. I don't notice much difference from the extension version I tried last week.
On the whole, to be useful to me there needs to be some way to store the profile remotely on an ftp server.
