New Windows Build of Mozilla Calendar, Experimental Linux Mozilla Sunbird BinariesWednesday August 6th, 2003kjetilh writes: "This slipped under my radar. The Calendar Project has released a new August 4th build (XPI file) for Mozilla 1.5a and the latest nightlies. Works with my 0.6.1 version of Firebird." This is the first build of Calendar since Mostafa Hosseini took over as maintainer of the project. Mostafa's newsgroup posting has more details about this new build (which is only available for Windows). In addition, two experimental Linux builds of Mozilla Sunbird (a standalone version of Calendar) have been released in the past few days. See Mostafa's announcement of the first binary and the his message about the most recent Sunbird release for more information and download links. Bugs in Mozilla Sunbird should be reported to the netscape.public.mozilla.calendar newsgroup rather than Bugzilla at this point. Mostafa has put up a Windows binary of Sunbird, which can be found at http://files.oeone.net/mostafah2/MozillaSunbird_win_20030806.zip for anyone who wants to give it a spin but can't build it themselves (like myself). A Mac OS X version is available here : http://mozilla.mathisen.info/calendar/calendar_mac.xpi There's also a version based upon the 1.4final source, build instructions, notes, etc. available at the web-site : http://mozilla.mathiesen.info/calendar/ |
