Mozilla Foundation Accepting Cheque Donations

Friday August 1st, 2003

The Mozilla Foundation is now accepting donations made using cheques (presumably only in US dollars) in addition to PayPal contributions. Corporate donations are also welcome. See the new donations page for details.

Donations to the Mozilla Foundation help to pay for bandwidth costs, salaries for developers (the Foundation plans to employ about ten), hardware purchases and other expenses.

Are you sure? Anyhow, the short answer is yes. The Foundation is a non-profit and doesn't do political stuff (and you're not contributing toward that part if it were to exist), which makes it very difficult for _me_ to think of a possible exception to the tax-deductible rule.
