NewsMonster 1.2 Released

Kevin Burton writes: "NewsMonster 1.2 has been released. This is a significant update from 1.1 which fixes a number of performance issues and focuses on usability. A few issues were fixed with the reputation system on Windows which should allow for enhanced relevance as soon as all users upgrade to 1.2."

BTW this rv:1.5a, Gecko/20030711 crashed on me only once and that because of IIRC running in extremely low free memory condition. Browser & mailnews are running ~12+ hours a day with tons of extensions since it came off the nightly build repository. So I'd say it is stable especially for designated alpha quality build ;)

And yes, calling it POS was probably too harsh, sry, it's just that I've gotten used (spoiled) to Mozilla & it's extensions & gizmos to Just Work(TM) ;)

And maybe part of the problem when it couldn't subscribe to anything was that Sun's Java Plug-in 1.4.2 doesn't quite work in my OS+Mozilla combination, got to investigate :/

Now smacking rv:1.5b Gecko/20030731 and looking again stable so far ;)

Oh and BTW, removing the NM (via prefs dialog) doesn't remove entries from prefs.js
