Spellchecker Now Built by DefaultMonday July 28th, 2003David Avery writes: "As of now, mkaply has turned on what was the mozdev spellchecker in all Mozilla builds (added it the list of default extensions built)." The spellchecker was checked into the tree (but not turned on) last week. Do I need to turn the spellchecker on in about:config? I have this build... Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5b) Gecko/20030729 ...but the spellchecker doesn't appear in the toolbar of a new mail message. The posting says that it's is now "turned on" though. Am I missing something? Is this not turned on in the 1.5b trunk ? Is this not turned on in the 1.5b trunk ? You know, ala iespell? I'm a horrible speller and this would be a godsend. I know with Mozilla being broken up and all that kinda is wishful thinking. But in the longterm having a spellchecker extension for Firebird that allows you to spellcheck any webforms is something a lot of people would use. |
