French Geckozone Site LaunchesMonday July 28th, 2003Benoit writes: "We are proud to announce to you the creation of Geckozone. Initiated by several members of the Frenchmozilla localization team, this new site is targeted to French-speaking people seeking information, help and tutorials on Mozilla-based products. "For now, only the forums are available to the French-speaking Mozilla community. The remaining parts of the site are expected to be launched in a few weeks. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the success of this initiative." Damn, talk about a conflict of interest. A French Mozilla site, eh? Hrm, so, like when matter and anti-matter meet, has the world ended and everyone forgot to tell me? Jack What, does the US own everything?! Unless I'm mistaken, there are a lot of Mozilla contributors who live outside the States - I don't regard Mozilla as particularly American, so I don't see why there is a conflict. Or, did I misunderstand and you where implying something else? Oh just ignore him. He's clearly just a bit of an ignorant, xenophobic arsehole. I know a lot of very nice Americans, but it's idiots like this that give the whoel country a bad name. I think it's a real shame. Bleurgh.
