>I quote from the website online @ (LINK) : Nexaweb is the only standards-based smart client platform on the market today. User interface instructions are based on XUL (pronounced "zool"), which is a standard championed by Sun, Netscape and Nexaweb. Any thoughts?

And the important phrase there is: "[Nexaweb]'s User interface instructions are based on XUL"

They are calling their product Nexaweb, and saying its similar to XUL, there's nothing wrong with that. Now if they said that their XML UI language *is* XUL even when its incompatible but similar, then that would be an issue.
