Gerald Bauer writes in with news that the Open XUL Alliance site has launched. The site aims promote XUL and encourage interoperability with a collection of XUL news articles, mailing lists and links.

My point is that you're doing a disservice to XUL by naming not-XUL things "XUL" and that's just plain wrong. If you want to creat a new XML based UI language, do it. Great! Have fun. But don't call it XUL. XUL has a specific meaning and calling something which isn't XUL by that name is wrong, just as calling it XAML would be wrong.
