MozillaZine Pseudo-Forums Open Thread
Thursday May 1st, 2003
While we're working on getting the MozillaZine Forums restarted, here's an open thread. Use it to discuss all the things you would normally discuss in the forums. You'll need to have a MozillaZine member account to post, which isn't the same thing as a forums username. Remember that while you can't include HTML in Talkback posts, you can insert links by typing the full URL (e.g. http://www.mozilla.org/) surrounded by whitespace (i.e. don't put any punctuation straight after the URL). The Talkback software will eat single linebreaks; use double linebreaks to start a new paragraph.
And because this is just like the forums, the answers to the most frequently asked questions are: a) Create a new profile; b) Tabbrowser Extensions; and c) Because the page author didn't use Web standards.

Usenet is troll friendly. I prefer a well-modded forum over the convienence of using your own news client on usenet anyday. Besides, there are many features you can't find in usenet, furthermore, PHP bulletin board is an emerging technology an is always evolving.
*News - Forum is now back online.
