It's been a long and intense week since mozilla.org announced that the Phoenix browser has been renamed Firebird, to the dismay of much of the Firebird database community. In this interview with MozillaZine, Ann Harrison, an administrator of the Firebird database project and a partner in IBPhoenix, gives her thoughts on the dispute.

Sorry for my poor English.

Do you mean that 'Mozilla Firebird' is not 'Firebird'. So the users of Mozilla Firebird should not be the same group of Firebird users. And from now on, the web site of Mozilla, software offered for downloading, the forum etc, should use the terms 'Mozilla Firebird', and should not shorten as 'Firebird' because there ARE two groups of users of different products.
