Thursday March 27th, 2003
foopy wrote in to tell us that The XFree86 Project, which produces an open-source implementation of the X Window System, has launched its own Bugzilla installation. The installation, located at bugs.xfree86.org, is hosted by netSweng on hardware donated by Hewlett-Packard.

That's interesting giving the recent discussions on the development of XFree86 on slashdot. I wonder if this is all that they are going to change or that there are other organizational changes pending.

I think that's great!!! I don't like mass mailing that tell us of things that are going on. I was not even able to subscribe to it anyway. It just doesn't work. With bugzilla, I can file a bug requesting that XFree86 to include a video driver with the later version than the older one. It's just that simple. Because I am unable to run Linux in GUI mode, the only thing that is run is in text mode.
