I have to second that. I know that this is open source and every developer works on what he wants and that no one has the right to ask for anything, especially if that person isn't a programmer. But I have been an avid supporter of Mozilla for something like two years now, I vote for bugs, download nightlies, report bugs and so on. The longer I take part these activities the more I fail to see the usefulness of the voting system. IME it has absolutely no effect on the actual work done on Mozilla. People work on whatever feature they want and that's ok. But I wonder if it wouldn't be much more honest to get rid of the voting system altogether since it serves almost no purpose. To me it really seems like pure alibi.
