I think that Mozilla as a platform is more important that Mozilla the browser in the long term. If you are suggest that they skip the concept of Mozilla as a platform and go with a smaller version of just Mozilla as a browser, then that might make sense for some people. I like the Mozilla as a platform as it seems to provide a means to let me choose my operating system separate from the applications I need. Right now I have to choose an operating system based on the applications it runs. If the applications were Mozilla as a platform-based, I've got the best of all worlds.
