I agree, it's so poor. It has trouble with my mail box imported from Netscape 4.79. There are 2,200 messages in it yet, it rarely picks them all up. If I keep deleting the file it creates when I first open the inbox, and then try opening it again, it might or might not find all the messages! It can take up to 10 attempts to display the messages. Then selecting them all and deleting them doesn't always work. In fact, deleting folders often seems to copy but not move them to the trash. Grrr. And then try open alt.test (my ISP's news server has 190,000 headers for this group) - it doesn't even get halfway before it grinds to halt using 100% CPU. It just doesn't scale. It's been behaving like this for over a year. It comes across as untested pre-beta quality software. For now I stick with Netscape for my mail/news because it works.
