Featuring quotes from Optimoz developer Andy Edmonds, the report looks at the background and history of mouse gestures and discusses their potential use in 3D environments. As well as MozGest, the mouse gesture implementations in Opera and StrokeIt are also covered.

Even with decent fonts (meaning fonts you copied over from another OS or bought yourself) the default build on my system (debian) doesn't display anti-aliased fonts as well as windows does (which is the minimum acceptable quality standard for me). I assume that's because of the whole patents-on-freetype debacle.

Since my screen is good enough to display fonts without anti-aliasing and not have it bother me I just leave it turned off.
