Mozilla Calendar 0.8 Released

A new version of Mozilla Calendar has been released for Linux and Windows. Amongst other improvements, Calendar 0.8 allows users to subscribe to remote calendar files and publish their events to a WebDAV-enabled server. Read the full article for more details and installation links.

Personally I still am not going to care about calendar untill it can give me event alerts with only the mozilla browser and preferable just quicklaunch open. I'm sorry, but the average user isn't going to keep the program open while they wait for an alert. Any application that does background style work like this should not have to stay in the main taskbar. Get it into the system tray and I'm sold.
