MozillaNews has an interview with David Ascher, the tech lead for ActiveState Komodo. Komodo is a Mozilla-based IDE for Linux and Windows that allows developers to work with Perl, PHP, Python, Tcl, XSLT and other programming technologies.

Opening a normal bookmark replaces the current content, so when I open a tab group I expect to replace current tabs. I suggest opening a tab group while pressing the Ctrl key would open the group in newer tabs, while just opening them (without Ctrl) would replace existing set of tabs.

This would be analogous to the Ctrl+Click a link behavior.
