Mozilla Firefox 3 Release Date Announced for Tuesday 17th JuneWednesday June 11th, 2008The Mozilla Developer News weblog is carrying an announcement that the final version of Mozilla Firefox 3 will be released on Tuesday 17th June. "After more than 34 months of active development, and with the contributions of thousands, we're proud to announce that we're ready," the message says. "It is our expectation to ship Firefox 3 this upcoming Tuesday, June 17th." It should be noted that there is still a small chance that a show-stopper bug could delay the release. However, barring any unforeseen disasters, Firefox fans can now circle next Tuesday in their calendars as Firefox Download Day when millions of users will attempt to set the Guinness World Record for the most software downloads in 24 hours. Anyone planning to host a Mozilla Party on the actual Firefox 3 launch day now also knows which date to target. The third and final release candidate of Firefox 3 was made available earlier today with a workaround for a Mac OS X bug. Time for some more parties! Hooray for Firefox! Tallez HO! To the hounds, to the hounds, for the Fox hunt. The next age of the best browser is here. Agree. Firefox is by far the best browser. Work better and faster and there is much more protection. <http://www.decorkitchens.com.au> Fantastic work everyone, congrats! I'm really looking forward to the many new features, including Color Management. I wrote about it here to spread the word: <http://bradcarlile.com/bl…-a-color-managed-browser/> I just wish it was default... Is the exact 24 hour period for the download 00:00UTC 20080617 - 00:00UTC 20080618 or some other timezone? This should be stipulated somewhere. #6 Re: Exact 24 hours for record attempt?by AlexBishop <alex@mozillazine.org> Friday June 13th, 2008 12:40 PM "Is the exact 24 hour period for the download 00:00UTC 20080617 - 00:00UTC 20080618 or some other timezone?" I would assume that it's 24 hours from the moment the release hits the servers. Alex Hooray! It is now 11am on June 17th here in the UK and still no sign of Firefox 3. So where is it? Hi, here in Americaīs, itīs 8:07 a.m. and not yet any link to download Firefox 3. Asian friends already finishes the day and, because this, the Guinness target will not be reached. Any friend from Asia get them any time? Hi, here in Americaīs, itīs 8:07 a.m. and not yet any link to download Firefox 3. I imagine it will be released during business hours Pacific time. As for your Asian friend, they will have all of tomorrow to download it. (It's 24 hours from when it hits the servers, not during the day of June 17th) To add to my previous post, Mozilla has released a more exact timeframe - which as I speculated puts the release time during business hours Pacific time: <http://developer.mozilla.…day-at-1700-utc-10am-pdt/> Why is it still not up! Its 11:15! It was supposed to be up at 10. They have a slim chance at the record now. Why is it still not up! Its 11:15! It was supposed to be up at 10. They have a slim chance at the record now. The improvements for EV-SSL in this release really shine. They can be seen from the <a href=<https://www.cleanertoday.com/Spider-traps-s/86.htm>>Spider Traps</a> page, then click on the Cleaner Today Green bar to the left of the URL. The International Customs logo and prominent green color really gets the "this site is secure" message across. Create folders to group similar items, and add annotations to remind yourself of why you bookmarked a particular item later. Sort on any of a number of properties including Name, Location, Date Last Visited, etc. Firefox also lets you associate a Keyword with any bookmark so you can open it by simply typing its keyword in the Location Bar of the browser. ... <http://www.abcweightloss.…et/resveratrol-ultra.html> <http://www.abcweightloss.net/> This looks really great!
