Okay... Now someone have replied to the bug... turns out that the bug has already been filed by a couple of times... I found out that (or at least that is what I think) the reason for why the behavior of FF2 (the right one) have been changed in FF3 (to the bug one) is probably because of this posted "bug" (I don't think it is a bug): <https://bugzilla.mozilla.…rg/show_bug.cgi?id=366572> What is said to be a problem in that "bug" is the same as 'bzbarsky'/#35 says in this discussion: That it is a problem that the open tabs is still present when opening FF after having shutdown and opened having the option 'clear my history' checked along with 'show my windows and tabs from last time'. Okay... I think this is plain stupid that the developers have listened to this inquiry. If someone doesn't want to have anything from the last history saved on opening after shutdown, then why the heck have they checked the 'show my windows and tabs from last time' feature? Doesn't make any sense? then they should just choose the option 'show my homepage' or 'show blank tab' instead. I totally agree with 'Brian Mathis' here: <https://bugzilla.mozilla.…how_bug.cgi?id=398817#c10> . Now because of this user/"bug": <https://bugzilla.mozilla.…rg/show_bug.cgi?id=366572> = someone don't know how to choose 'show my homepage' (default), instead of 'show my windows and tabs from last time' (not default), the last option has now been destroyed. This is so stupid :(. The developers have destroyed one working function and replaced it with a behavior of another function. So instead of having two separate working functions, we now have one working and one destroyed to do the same thing as the other one. Damn! that is just plain stupid. I can also add that this behavior is not only present in FF3 Beta 4. I have also tested FF3 Beta 5 pre build 200803230/ the second newest (2008-03-21 Trunk build) from the listing in here: <http://www.squarefree.com/burningedge/> . Haven't tried the newest one, but I am going to do it this weekend, but from the notes it doesn't seems like this bug has been fixed :(
