Mozilla Thunderbird 184.108.40.206 Released
Thursday August 2nd, 2007
The Mozilla Corporation has released Mozilla Thunderbird 220.127.116.11. This update fixes two security issues, which are detailed in the Thunderbird 18.104.22.168 section of the Mozilla Foundation Security Advisories page (they're the same bugs that were eliminated in the equivalent Mozilla Firefox 22.214.171.124 release earlier this week).
The latest version of Thunderbird can be downloaded from the Thunderbird product page and will be offered to existing Thunderbird 2 users via the software update system. More general information about Thunderbird 126.96.36.199 can be found in the Thunderbird 188.8.131.52 Release Notes. An update to the Thunderbird 1.5 line is expected shortly.
#1 Demotion to a project?
Friday August 3rd, 2007 6:40 PM
How does the coming demotion of Mozilla Thunderbird from a "product" to a "project" affect future releases?
Probably not at all, just like there have been SeaMonkey builds continuously since Mozilla announced that they would no longer develop the Mozilla Application Suite. Besides, from Mitchell Baker's blog it looks like "demotion to a project" is currently the worst case scenario. <<http://weblogs.mozillazine.org/mitchell/>>
Hello, There are e-mails that do not deserve to be saved in the sent message folder. It would be nice if Thunderbird had an option that would prevent that saving.
<http://codefisher.org/toolbar_button/> <-- That extension has a button called "Send With No Save" might do just what you want.
I agree with you, sartenose! Many unexpected email in my account, almost all are spam. I hope there is a extension for that problem.
<http://codefisher.org/toolbar_button/> I used this already.
