FoxyBetty writes: "Firefox 2 is a finalist on the Webware 100 list! Now it's up to voters to pick the winners. Webware is a site where computer users can learn about new and useful Web applications. The Webware 100 will serve as a guide of new and innovative Web applications.
"You can vote for your favorites here: www.webware.com/100. Voting closes June 11 and winners will be announced June 18. Anyone can vote, so help us get the word out to other Web users!"
FoxyBetty appears to work for A&R Edelman, the Mozilla Corporation's public relations agency.
AllPeers, a Firefox extension is also participating in the Data category. It's also worth noting that no registration is required and it takes a matter of seconds to cast your vote.

But with no registration required, can there be any value at all in the result? Internet polls are unreliable at the best of times, but when they verify an email address it at least means people have to make a little effort to submit multiple votes.
If you clear you cookies you can vote again and again. Even better use a program to automate it and not accept any cookies. Bingo, we have a winner
I bet someone will do it.

Here are the results (<http://www.webware.com/8301-1_109-9728770-2.html>), with Firefox sweeping 50 % of the votes in its category. But as pointed out above, it's not easy to know what this means....
