Have You Seen These Hackers?Saturday March 16th, 2002Gervase Markham writes: "The Mozilla relicensing project is nearing completion, but mozilla.org can't track down a few contributors. This is where you come in. Head over to the Have You Seen These Hackers? page and use your skill and cunning to try and find the last few missing people." The page lists Dean Tessman as last seen on September 1st last year. However, I saw him file bug 131346 http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=131346 on Friday and make a MozillaZine comment http://www.mozillazine.org/talkback.html?article=2167&message=12#12 last Wednesday. Very prolific for a missing person! (I've emailed relicensing@mozilla.org about this.) Alex Ummm, no, I'm not missing. I'm right here. I've never left. I'm on IRC a couple times a week at least, and I'm constantly filing bugs, dupes, verifying, and attaching patches in bugzilla using that email address. I've sent an email and asked that I be removed entirely from that list, as that gives the impression that I'm not an active contributor to this project. dean where's jwz? :D Actually, as far as I can tell, everything JWZ ever contributed is owned by Netscape, so we don't need to ask him :-) Gerv Some of us who worked on the Site Navigation Bar are still missing from the contributors list, who else do we have to bug besides credits@mozilla.org? Looks like it's going well - loads of people have been found now. Who is this Olav Vitters person? Does he work for the CIA or something? He's been responsible for over half of the finds so far! Alex Man, I wish I could find myself. |
