Internationalized Domain Support

William Tan writes: "The Mozilla team has been working on Internationalized Domain Name (IDN) support for some time now. IDN support has been a tricky issue, but we have had good success with it. Currently, Mozilla is able to support IDN through an external XPCOM component. Since this is a relatively experimental effort, it needs lots of attention, scrutiny and suggestion. Mozilla IDN Initiative was formed to provide a central resource for anyone interested in its development."

I have submitted stories to them in the past, but I don't visit mozillazine every day, nor do I have the time to be a feeding mechanism for all the stories. If those who see a story new on mozillazine and think NewsForge might publish a link to the article submit it, then it's ensured that it gets submitted; if any one single person (except Asa) is relied upon to submit it, then sometimes it won't get submitted until, for instance, a MozillaQuest article about the same thing has been submitted and NewsForge decides they only need one link to document the event.
