Hosting Update #2 - Almost There

Friday December 28th, 2001

We've all but decided on a host, and hope to start moving the site starting this week. We apologize for the lack of updating as we have been busy working on finding a host, along with enjoying the holidays. We hope to have the site fully up and running by the middle of January, and will get links up to the beta one as soon as we have something.

We also want to again thank you for your amazing support. When we first decided we were going to move, we had no clue of how we were going to find the money, nor any idea how supportive the community would be. We've raised enough money to make the move to a larger host that will allow us to both reopen the site in full now, and expand what we have to offer in the coming year. We're going to leave the link to PayPal up, and we'll use any additional money raised to help fund next year's bills and to cover bandwidth overruns if they arise. We thank you for all your support over the past 3+ years, especially the last couple of weeks, and look forward to many more years as part of the Mozilla community. Thanks again, and happy holidays.

First of all, yes your questions is way of topic. You should post questions or comments like that in the newsgroups. Create a newsgroup account using as the news server. There are many newsgroups you can subscribe to at netscape.public.mozilla. General questions like that can be posted at netscape.public.mozilla.general newsgroup.

The problem you describe does not show up on my Mozilla version (latest nightly 12-30, Win XP and Linux). Try the following: Go to Edit > Preferences and do all of the following: clear History and Location Bar. Clear the Memory Cache and the Disk Cache. Exit Mozilla and restart it.
