Hosting Update #2 - Almost There

Friday December 28th, 2001

We've all but decided on a host, and hope to start moving the site starting this week. We apologize for the lack of updating as we have been busy working on finding a host, along with enjoying the holidays. We hope to have the site fully up and running by the middle of January, and will get links up to the beta one as soon as we have something.

We also want to again thank you for your amazing support. When we first decided we were going to move, we had no clue of how we were going to find the money, nor any idea how supportive the community would be. We've raised enough money to make the move to a larger host that will allow us to both reopen the site in full now, and expand what we have to offer in the coming year. We're going to leave the link to PayPal up, and we'll use any additional money raised to help fund next year's bills and to cover bandwidth overruns if they arise. We thank you for all your support over the past 3+ years, especially the last couple of weeks, and look forward to many more years as part of the Mozilla community. Thanks again, and happy holidays.

I know this is unrelated, but this is the latest thread so I thought I would ask my question here.

While using the last couple of nightly builds for win32 I have noticed that the following URLs do not work:

<> <…ity/Music/Styles/Hip_Hop/>

I am getting a file not found message, but I know these URLs both work. NS4, NS6, Opera and IE can all access them correctly. Has anybody else out there experienced a similar problem? At firs,t I thought it might be a problem with the underscore in the URL, but the following URL works ok:

So, the problem is not with the underscore. I\'m even sure where to begin searching for a bug on this one. Does Mozilla have a music pref? Has anybody else experienced any problems with getting a page not found error only in Mozilla?
